Pathways After O-Levels: Junior College or Polytechnic
After completing their O-Level examinations, students can choose between two primary pathways

2 2

Junior College (JC) – This route leads to the GCE A-Level examinations, which are highly regarded by universities. Admission to JC typically requires a pass in the GCE O-Level Thai Mother Tongue examination for Thai students.

Polytechnic – This route leads to a diploma, which also qualifies students for university admission. However, Polytechnic does not require a pass in the Mother Tongue Language at the O-Level for entry.

Both pathways offer opportunities for higher education, but it is important to note that universities generally favor JC students.
